Have You Been Blessed By Chapel? Let Us Know!

Okay Okay Okay... We know that this is a little bit weird, but if you're okay with that, we are.

We have really enjoyed the opportunity to lead the community of Seattle Pacific University in worship this year. And we're pretty amped about what a privelige it is to be able to do so. We're pretty sure that the work we're doing is faithful to the calling that we've received.

Even so, we'd really like to hear from you. As a community of worshippers, it's important that we be in constant dialogue about our times of corporate worship. Accordingly, if you've attended a Chapel service, a Night of Worship, or an EXHALE Night of Art & Worship, and have been blessed by joining us in that time, we'd really like to know. If you have met God through the work that we're doing in our community, we would love to be able to celebrate that with you.

Below, you will find some messages from members of our community. These messages have affirmed and uplifted us in our work. If you have something to add, we'd really appreciate it.

Thank you for joining us in this year!

Most Warmly,
Nate Berends

Hello!

Great job on chapel this week!

I can only tell you what a great sigh of relief it is to know that when I invite people to chapel, I can have confidence that what they experience will be excellent and fitting of our University. You have stepped up the quality a hundred fold from previous years. THANK YOU!

I loved the jazz playing as people went in – fresh. Luke did a nice job welcoming people and getting us to say hi to each other – that is going to be key for success, that people really have a moment to interact with one another in a non-meeting, non-work context. I got to know some new students there, which was great for me.

Virginia Ward did an exceptional job. As someone who admires good speakers, I was taking notes!

Bottom line: we did the classic model (music and a great speaker) really well today. We need to be spot on in this model if we hope to earn people’s trust to do more things outside the box. I think maintaining this standard of excellence will spread – people will talk and the thing will grow.

Hello!

I would personally like to THANK YOU and the entire CHAPEL CORE for doing so a incredible job with Chapel. I have truly been blessed by you guys this quarter.

This year when I invite friends to Chapel I truly believe when I am inviting them… that the speaker, the music, the atmosphere will change them and they will feel welcomed…lastly and more importantly I believe that they will in some way or another experience the Kingdom of God in the service.

Side note the speakers have been off the hook this quarter…I leave left several chapel raving about the speakers (if you don’t believe me…just ask some of the ASSP officers/my professors/ or friends)…I have been challenged/empowered/convicted/assured and everything in between by the speakers

With that said keep up the good work…I am praying for Chapel Core and your ministry…Be Blessed…and please know that you guys have been such a blessing for me and many others…. Chapel has been a place for me to receive spiritual food…for that I am truly grateful… If I can be of assistance in anyway please let me know...Don’t be shy!

Many Blessings,
